As sailors ourselves we understand the difference good equipment can make. It can be the difference of a great day sailing or a day you’d rather forget. This especially holds true when it comes time to trailer your boat. As a former sailboat transporter myself I learned a lot about what a trailer needs to perform well.

You can get away with lighter channel frame construction but our preference is all tube frame construction. It costs a little more, it makes a little heavier trailer, but it is just plain stronger. Tube flexes less than channel so the MIG welded joints will hold up better and longer. I learned this the hard way with my transport business. Our first transporting trailer was channel frame. The more hauls we did with it the more repairs were needed at the welded joints. We now build trailers for Christine Transport and they stack up tens of thousands of miles a month on our tube frame trailers with zero need for weld joint repair.

Most trailer companies offer rubber torsion axles as optional. We make Axis Products Torsion Axles standard. They simply offer the best ride for the boat without the extra components of spring axles that inevitably go bad over time. We also make Easy Lube grease hubs standard on every trailer.

Spare tire: Standard. Lets be serious. The most likely time you will have a flat on a trailer is when you don’t have a spare. That’s my experience anyways. So every trailer we build is sent with a spare as standard equipment

Adjustability. Going back again to the transporting days, I needed a trailer that could adapt to different hull shapes and sizes. We came up with a telescoping, pivoting jack stand system that worked extremely well for our transporting business and now has become very popular with our customers. .Some of the advantages are; if you change boats or haul a friends boat the trailer will adapt. If you decide to sell your trailer the adjustability opens up a much broader potential buyer base.

We look forward to earning your business and please feel free to call me with any questions you may have.

Regards,

Brian Bishop

Owner
